This information is provided as an impact of the COVID-19 Disease and how it impacts both our company and our guests.
We take the wellbeing of our staff and guests very seriously and have implemented measures in line with health authorities to ensure a safe environment for all.
Company precautions:
Vector Aviation PTY LTD t/a Aviation Tours is taking the following precautions to safeguard against COVID-19 transmission:
- Staff will be stood down from work should they have confirmed contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 or have themselves tested positive to COVID-19 in the previous 14 days before their rostered duty.
- Staff have been advised on handwashing and hygiene techniques, as well as being provided with hand sanitiser.
- Aircraft will be cleaned and disinfected between flights in accordance with government regulations. Interior will be cleaned with disinfectant between tours, or when passengers change.
Travel Restrictions:
- Guests who have a confirmed case of COVID-19, or who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 14 days, will not be allowed to travel on any tours or charters until cleared, in writing, by a Doctor.
- Any guest who has had contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19, in the previous 14 days before a tour, will not be allowed to travel until cleared, in writing, by a Doctor.
- Vector Aviation PTY LTD t/a Aviation Tours reserves the right to ask any guest travelling on a tour who has COVID-19 Symptoms which may include (but are not limited to) fever, dry cough and tiredness, to have a COVID-19 test at an approved Government facility.
Upcoming Tours:
- A guest who cannot travel due to COVID-19, will be permitted to defer their travel to another date without charge. They may also elect to receive a credit of the amount paid, to be put towards a different tour with the company at a future date.
- Vector Aviation PTY LTD t/a Aviation Tours will require a letter from a medical practitioner regarding potential COVID-19 symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test result, or evidence of recent overseas travel, prior to a rebooking being made.
- All guests will receive a full credit for all monies paid if a tour is cancelled due to COVID-19 by Vector Aviation PTY LTD t/a Aviation Tours.
- If due to COVID-19, there are insufficient guest numbers to operate a tour or due to lockdowns due to COVID-19 Vector Aviation PTY LTD t/a Aviation Tours will reschedule the tour for a later date and guests will receive a credit for the amount paid.
